Ms. Subha
Director & Lead Teacher
“Nurturing independence, curiosity, and a lifelong love of learning.”
Ms. Subha brings over 13 years of experience in early childhood education and is a certified Montessori educator. She began her teaching journey at Montessori One in California, and continued her work with respected Montessori and early learning programs in Richmond.
Guided by a deep belief in honoring each child’s individuality and natural pace of learning, she founded The Peacock Montessori, now proudly in its 8th year.
Ms. Subha is dedicated to creating a thoughtfully prepared environment where children are gently guided to develop independence, concentration, and confidence—laying a strong foundation for lifelong success.
She holds a BA in literature, a Child Development Associate (CDA), and has completed coursework in child development, director certification, and music and movement at UCLA. Beyond the classroom, she enjoys classical dance, painting, hiking, and cherishing time with her family.
Ms. Faith
Music Educator
“Inspiring creativity, confidence, and excellence through music.”
Ms. Faith is an accomplished music educator with over 35 years of experience teaching piano, guitar, and vocals. She is the founder of Faith Priya Music Studio, accredited by Trinity College London.
With advanced qualifications, including a BS, MA, MEd, EdS, and EdD, she has completed the highest levels of music training and serves as a Trinity Piano Exam Coordinator.
She is passionate about nurturing each child’s musical journey with discipline, joy, and excellence.
Ms. Marta Pardo
Spanish Teacher
“Opening doors to language, culture, and global understanding.”
Ms. Marta Pardo brings a rich cultural background and a passion for language education. Born in Barcelona, she is a native speaker of Spanish and Catalan and has lived in the United States for 19 years.
With extensive experience teaching Spanish, she uses games, music, and creative activities to make learning engaging and meaningful.
Ms. Marta believes that language learning connects children to new cultures and perspectives, and she is excited to guide them on this joyful journey.
Ms. Stacy
Yoga Instructor
“Cultivating calm minds, strong bodies, and mindful hearts.”
Ms. Stacy brings nearly 30 years of yoga practice and over 10 years of teaching experience to our community. She is a 200-hour certified yoga instructor and a certified Kids Yoga teacher, working with both children and adults.
She also serves as a Chinese language teacher and Mandarin interpreter, reflecting her diverse educational background.
Ms. Stacy creates a peaceful and engaging space where children develop balance, mindfulness, and self-awareness. Ms. Stacy enjoys being part of the Peacock Montessori community.
In her free time, she enjoys practicing yoga and watching movies.
